What is there to do in Newcastle?more
Newcastle is a haven of creativity – come rain or shine, you’ll never be stuck for something to do. Ouseburn is one of Newcastle’s cultural hubs – with great pubs, bars and restaurants, it’s the place to be on a Saturday afternoon and great for a pub crawl. Once a flour mill, the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art is definitely worth a visit if you’re into your art – a really cool spot. The Biscuit Factory is another favourite with locals and visitors alike – take in a range of contemporary art before sitting down for great food on their outdoor terrace. If you’re a fan of the great outdoors, there’s lots for you to get up to. Our recommendation? Head to Ice-Dip Social in the winter months – a freezing cold plunge into the North Sea, followed by a sauna and food. What better way to warm up?
-
